A little Xaoc.

The Timiszoara by Xaoc (pronounced 'chaos') Devices comes with a pile of effects and the ability to load others like shareware which is neat. Each folder holds 8 algorithms, so I did a demo of just the "glitch" folder that came pre-loaded on the SD card.

Not musical, just gives an idea of how these 8 effects sound.

A little more XAOC. The shimmer reverb folder. I think I really don't enjoy making demos, as I'm not a good teacher and being all factual about stuff isn't fun like being creative/musical/stupid is.

Sounds like some Korg M1 sound effects like 'Hellhouse' that you find in the M1 pack. very well done on getting those creepy, horror sound like sounds haha, great stuff once again, well done D.bill!

Thanks. It's honestly a little weird, doing a product demo for an effect unit, but there's very little out there for this module so why not. Of course it would be better if they were paying me, but then I'd be obligated to actually get good at it then

Since the first one was glitch based effects, I wanted to feed it something with some character - didn't turn out so great.

I looked at Reason once when DAW shopping, but it's been a LONG while. I should look again, though to be honest the thought of learning a new DAW is intimidating - I get some brain fog due to the health stuff, and I'm not nearly as smart as I used to be. I have a huge pile of software and modules I don't really use where sitting and focusing on learning for a few hours is simply unlikely.

Yeah, I've been also trying out some other DAWs and every time I ended not to do a switch. And to be honest here, in the nowdays Reason does everything already (almost), so why should I bother. So I understand your point very well. Your stuff is professional so why should you bother really...

I have used lots of DAW's GarageBand, Logic, Reaper and now Presonus (Studio One). I really like it ..but yes it's another monthly subscription thing, it seems to work well enough for what I want to do. My sound engineer teacher at Uni used Reason and we had Pro tools, but back then I wasn't really interested in it.
