Cool groove. When the drums drop out you might try a simple pattern there to keep the beat, even just a hat or kick every 4 beats to keep the pulse might help bridge to when they come back in full.

Thanks, D.bill. I was wondering what to do there, thanks for the awesome idea, I'm probably going to play around with it more, before I fully release it, I want to make it even better, thanks! All pending Christmas organisation time I need soon to dedicate my time to the Christmas festivities. keep safe D.bill and all the best to you! :)

Pretty ace attitude. I think you could put more into the production side and add more sounds other than your usual guitar, vox and drums. Also some reverb, delay or creative fx would be cool too, but anyway, nice stuff.

Thanks, Heikki.
I'm going to revisit it at some stage to push the song even further, and when I get the time as we are close to Christmas.

Hi everybody, I have it really thumping now and how I like it. See above updated Bandcamp link. I added a little reverb and lifted the bass a little, and changed some guitar parts, I'm really liking it right now. Thanks and all the best! :)

:slayer2: So are you mostly using power chords at the low end? Ever think about adding some complete bar chords with the high end included sometimes, for some emphasis?

Trying to catch up on listening to yalls stuff. I've been busy as hell the last 6 weeks since I got back from vacation and came home and promptly got very sick.

Good to see you back round here again and hope you get to full health again soon. I used drop D power chords even if the guitar riff is kinda slow and basic. It was lots of fun to make which was the main thing and I have been trying out my new DAW and new SM7B hehe. :slayer2:

Drop D was my go to tuning on a lot of the acoustic stuff I used to do. It's lot of fun and you're only one string change away from open G.

Yes, for me Drop D is my go to as well. I used to play standard E which is my second fav and some Djent stuff back in the day but got bored of Djent very quickly. The sound of Drop D to my ears resonates with such heaviness that I really like. It's a pretty bad ass tuning I must say haha. All the best Henry!
