I normally like the black with lighter text, but not for reading. I prefer a more natural look.

My screen on this computer is black. Easy to find stuff. But when software or websites have black backgrounds then other colors need to be light. Dark blue is very hard to read especially when the text is smallish. What really drives me nuts are packages like Sonar and particularly De Vinci Resolve. They have sections that have no boundary and some links that are dark grey. I'd like to shoot the bastards. The Motu interface is black too but at least the test is easy to read. Sonar? I just know where everything is.

Yeah well - in Reason you have a default light, blue and dark skins. I am a fan of dark skins, but in Reason I still prefer the light one more than the dark. Reason 12 will drop in the 1st September and it will have high dpi resolution for the graphics.
My home website is also a combination of dark and light colors: www.reflexion-x.com
