Me: I wired a banana to my synth. Ask me how!

Have you tried under ripe and over ripe? I wonder if it would make a difference? Or without the skin, or........ the skin itself?

It was my last banana. While the banana was not harmed during filming, it did suffer a tragic end just after when I ate it. It honestly was the very first patches with the thing, it arrived two days earlier and all I did was mount it, plug it in, and see if it worked. I'll be trying other things soon, but honestly, pretending to be that lively on camera plus all the moving equipment around to shoot stuff was exhausting and I half lost my voice just after for a few hours. My stupid heart doesn't get bigger when moving about any more, so effort takes more effort.

The apology is the best part of the whole thing. Now I remember why I stopped putting my face on camera, and there is WAY TOO MUCH FACE and it is WAY TOO CLOSE here, heh.

Could have all sorts of fun with that in the name of science, of course!

Dunno if this is the same module, but I dimly remember Simon the Magpie did a video that involved inserting a probe into some cat-food, and then feeding the cat: if I remember right, the module was triggered every time the cat touched the food. I assume this is working on basically the same principle.

Cool video anyhow! :geek:

I used two clip sensors on my fingers yesterday, so I know this will work. Unfortunately. no likely candidates for eye candy, but I could shave my nipples and slap the patches on as pasties.

You're welcome. Didn't end up doing that though, instead I attempted an ambient duet between myself on a solar drum and a houseplant playing faux-Japanese-koto on the modular.

I have ordered a PSU rack for my modular setup.
An Arturia Rackbrute to go with my mini brute 2S (Matrixbrute, drumbrute and microfreak)… only 174hp in 6U which will basically be filled already.
It’s going to be here in a month or so. (Coming from France)

No bananas. Though I have an eye on a few modules….
