The guitars end up being very interesting. Sounds toward the end, you have some reversed guitar parts playing in there too. They all seem to be on the left side though and makes that side of the track .....weighted.... might be the right word.

Your voice is not bad. What you might think about doing is looking up how to breath when you sing. That would make a difference in how it sounds. You kind of support the singing like you do when you play a brass instrument, by coming from down deep in your belly. It allows for more consistent tone in your singing. Dont feel bad though, most people dont know how to do it.

Your speaking voice sounds like a combination of Ringo Starr and Sean Connery!

Thanks Henry! See what you mean about the mix being lopsided. I can only assume I fucked up somewhere on the video as the song itself is balanced. Certainly the version on Bandcamp doesn't seem weighted to one side. I'll have to take another look at the video. I suspect the problem is with the grouping of audio channels, but I dunno what the hell I'm doing really. That's the trouble with using free versions of software where you can only get the manual by buying the full program, and the few tutorials that are available all refer to an older version with a different layout and functionality and don't cover the questions I had anyway. Or to re-frame this, the fundamental problem is that I'm trying to do this video thing on the cheap.

Hey, you are doing more with the videos than I can. Those music vids I have been making, I have an editor with a “easy video” setting. I upload some clips and click “ match to music”.

I thought it was a little odd because I could see your levels while it was playing. At first I thought my right speaker had gone out.

Dbl Tracking on vox. Is actually pretty common and you apply it well. It tends to cover minute nit picky wobbles in the voice. For single vox tracks try to project a bit more to minimize the wobbles. Practice Practice Practice.

I absolutely love that bass guitar sound.

F (1st freet) is one of the hardest standard chords to play with the exception being a B at the first fret. Both should be played as a bar chord. But one can fudge with the thumb and/or ommision of the low E string. With those two finger configuration and bar chord form, you can play any chord. Just move up the fret board. What you are playing on the electric is lead, not chords. Nice sound though. It sounds like a Marshall stack is sitting right there. You might toy with a few string bends, hammer on, and pull off. Is the acoustic mic'd or pickup? I'm betting mic'd. Nice sound. You seemed to have handled the 164 Hz mud and the 60 Hz thump. The chords are played well. Don't be so hard on youself.

I am extremely jealous of your drum abilities. If only I could mind meld with you to gain that knowledge.

Unless my system has gon wonky the balance is too far left and narrow. If it were me I would place the instruments as if on a stage going out to 45 degrees with the meat being around 30 degrees. The middle tones are a bit jumbled. Perhaps too many guitar tracks covering the same tonal range. You might try a bit of phase shifting to cure that.
