Back when I actually went to school, I took some college Psyche courses and I remember one school of thought there was that people with mental challenges might be more perceptive and actually the norm, because our senses are actually designed to regulate stimuli in the existing world and those of us who are actually norms, dont have all the perceptions available to us like people we designate as mentally ill. Now I am old, I am not always sure, that aint true. I dont quite accept that reality is what it was when I was younger.

Ivan and Heiki, questions I have is were those experiences friendly to you? Did you think at the time it was normal enough to just be that way? Or were you aware it but unable to change? In my own experiences with Peyote, mushrooms and LSD, there was always this anchor for me. Like a part of me was standing there to tell me what was real and what was not, if I needed it. Big brother me!

Yeah I have gone through much like this too, I rely on antipsychotic medication, if I go off my meds I go down in my mental health very quickly, I have bipolar and schizophrenia. It's amazing that I'm still here with you all, I must say, I think so. One day I'll go back to my planet, home-world

No, when I had LSD, I got really paranoid and I experienced that Satan started to hunt my mind. Since then, I've had voice-delusions and had some psychosis too. With the medications I've been doing fine enough though. :tin_foil_hat:

That's great that things are working well for you Heikki. I am actually a fully qualified psychologist - but can't practice because I have mental illness myself - it really sucks they could have told me that before I studied for it haha.

I've done lsd, and was in total control, infact I relished it, I knew it was the drug that was creating these illusions and I could manage it, similar to your " big brother" way, but when I first experienced psychosis I believed I was in another dimension it was surreal that I had powers beyond the norm, I was very sick. Until now I have learnt what it is, and when I experience it I now know its not real. Though its pretty believable its like your subconscious working behind the scenes the voices ect... there were good euphoria experiences but also bad ones like a paranoid schizophrenia vibe.

Yes though I am a believer, not in the religious sense, I just believe that there is a power greater than me.

Same for me, I'm an agnostic, but not religious. And I like the certain spiritual activities by the people.
