In my mind, just one old grey haired man.

I suffered psychosis and it was just auditory but it felt real, that people, like spirits were there.

I've not been in psychosis for years, in the way I used to be. But I still communicate to them. It's like a connection from heads to heads. I am suffering because of this, and I would like to have privacy. The whole thing is still not proved to be anything else than Schizophrenia. Even though there are also some doctors and scientists also throwing out various theories, that what it actually IS.

I'm on meds for the last 16 years. All the people like all the docs, nurses, tell these delusions come from our own mind. I'm not 100% sure myself still, but that is kinda good news, that it's just our own brain-shit lol.

All my experiences like that were from drugs. I used to go out and pick the magic mushrooms that grew in the cow shit here in the US. My first trip, when I was in college was on Peyote. I also had LSD trips back then. And I had experiences on those drugs a lot like what you and Heikki have described. But only on those substances and I was kind of able to separate those from normal experience. All my trips were kind of me, looking on from outside and being of two minds.

That is not to say, they were not meaningful to me. Hallucinogenic drugs taught me to think more and pay attention to symbolic thinking. That lead to exploring psychology and Jung, (Who I still understand only a fraction of what the fuck he was talking about.) And then Joseph Campbell and comparative mythology.

The difference it made to me was in music and writing lyrics in the stuff I was doing in the Pond days. Invoking that gospell feel was kind of deliberate and why I incorporated some of the imagery into my lyrics. It resonates with people.

Funny, it's also why I love primitive style gospel music in Americana. But I am an Agnostic in the classic definition of the word.
