The couple of times I've turned up to work still half-cut from the day before I kept crashing racks and shit. Never done work fresh-drunk though.

Being drunk adversely affects my sense of timing. Hand/eye coordination not so much…. Unless I’m starting to get ‘numb’ … that makes things awkward and clumsy.
I haven’t had anything to drink in almost 2 years, I’m finding my tolerance isn’t what it used to be. 2-3 drinks before I start forgetting conversations the next day. In trying to be concise with my words I overthink it and end up babbling nonsense.
There was some work drama, the less serious issue (involves me) was blown out of proportion. The more serious issue (involves the Sous and jr Sous) is being taken as ‘it was just a joke’.
Off for a few days, so I’ll see where things have landed tomorrow.

yeah for me I'm not sure what drinking or other drugs do for me. It's nice but too much of those things can disrupt things going forward. I only have a couple of drinks after a big work day and feeling accomplished that I've done things I like doing in my day time, and having time to relax and veg-out afterwards.
