Going for some dark vibes on this.

Reckon this has been my favourite of your recent ambient stuff. Those droning pads are really cool. Wasn't expecting that wee Hammond organ there though - reminds me of something Blur did quite a bit, throwing in these little incongruous bits of music, although obviously here, it's more than just a "bit". All starts getting a bit weird with that start-stop bass synth. Yeah, interesting sound palette all-round. Mix felt a little wonky on the first half of the track: felt the pads could be louder at least relative to that metallic / flanged percussive thing - or maybe that could just be lowered a bit. Overall structure makes a bit more sense too on second listen. Fairly subtle progression I suppose. Yeah, good work Henry!

Thanks Dolly and Ashley! That mix on the first part was deliberately made to be muddy and distant. The idea being something heard from a distance. I got the idea from a piece a member of an ambient forum posted, that I belong too. I was not sure it worked.

I see a lot of you have posted music. I’ll give a listen all around when I get home. I’m in Portland OR tonight. I’m picking up a load tomorrow afternoon, to head back to Florida. But then I have to sit until Sunday morning because I have used all my hours I can drive this week.

I should be home by Thursday or Friday next week.

When this pandemic shit I over, I might surprise you and come by that way. I’ve been reconnecting with some older cousins and my brother over the phone and when this shit does end, I’m going to take a personal trip around the country. Visit some friends, relatives and even some graves. Life is too fucking short!

I just heard today Bill Meckecknie from Anubis Spire is in the hospital with COVID. I know him from the old Mixposure site. We’ve talked on line a lot. Good guy and great musician. This shit sucks. It’s too easy to die.!F we come through the other side, it’s time for some human connections!

Ok. Nice ambient sounds on the background. Loving those tiny percussive "snirring" sounds. Cool melodies for the organ.
I must say that even you're 60 years old, you have some ear for some really cool ideas. Ooh, the synth rhythm guitar sounds are dope. Very cool Henry! Keep em coming!
