You called me at 4:30AM my time. I have to drive the fucking 80,000 lb death machine in the snow and scare the fuck out of the Mormons. You woke me up you deep! :x

I didn’t know before you started waking me up that people could make calls through messenger. And there’s no way to block messenger from that.

Don't take this the wrong way hnry, but truck drivers can be some of the most stupid people on earth. I've been in the middle of that shit before. As you can imagine it is one of the most terrifying experiences one can have. There is a rule when driving in foul weather. If you can't stop within your vision slow the fuck down.

...and Ivan, stop calling me too.

I’ve been over Donner pass when weather reports called for light snow and had it turn into a white out blizzard without warning. Had that last night with the Oregon DOT site calling for good roads and there was black ice in the mountains. There was a 4 car accident with an SUV upside down that ran into it.

And Marty, I know you have driven in it but I have driven close to a million miles in a truck now. I drive 120,000 miles a year give or take. And my asshole still clinches up when I have to drive the beast in ice.

Try driving a fire truck with 1,000 gallons of water on that shit or in a white out. It does not exactly stop on a dime. Yeah, I know it is not a fully loaded 18 wheeler, but back then we still had firemen on the back of the truck (all wheel drive, 10....with chains). I was told to never put the firemen at risk. People stupid enough to get in the way took second place behind the firemen. Never came to that thankfully. People do really stupid things in heavy snow and white outs.......like stopping in the road because the shoulder is waist deep in snow. Adding the trucker who does not slow down into the mix makes for a really bad night for those that have to clean up the bodies.

Listen to your asshole. There in a direct relationship between the degree of pucker and how much you should slow down.

Glad you are safe. Did you go through Mexican Hat or Blanding?

On the eastern side of Sierra Nevada, Carson City south on US 395, the weather can be crystal clear but the winds coming down from the Sierra Nevada pick up powder snow causing white outs. They are pretty common south of Bridgeport (and the grade above Mono Lake). The stretch between the Mammoth turnoff and Long Valley can be really bad at times. White out out the windshield yet see stars above.

:headbang: :headbang: Geese. Here I am trying g to start a fight in the Can and Ivan apologizes. I feel like a old, fat and bald Peter Pan with a bag full of good drugs and a harem of hookers, coming to party with the Lost Boys but they are all to busy with church.
