Being left in America means that you prefer government to help in sustaining the people. Medicare/Medicad, Social Security program, what used to be called welfare...etc. But it also includes a whole host of other things, meaning that government has a daily role in individuals lives. How degree of the role one desires determines how far left one is placed. It is a game of labels which sucks because someone may feel that fiscal responsibility is necessary in government while at the same time supporting certain public support programs. I believe in fiscal responsibility yet I support all the fore mentioned programs, meaning I don't mind paying taxes to support said programs. I do not support the far left ideas. There is such a thing as too much government/taxes/infringements. But that is just me. The ideas of the original poster are reflections of communism, what is yours is also mine. So no I am not for a wealth tax. I am for the bastards paying their way like the rest of us. I am for a living wage and support of a clean environment. These are the the roles of a government, not some enslaving business.

In many ways I support conservative ideas such as fiscal responsibility. I do not support efforts to dissolve all he previously mentioned programs and then some. But it is weird now. Those calling themselves Republican or even conservative are anything but that. They are the Trump party, what was formerly the Republican Party. They support nothing but fear and lothing which includes no governing policies other than to take away from those that are not them regardless of wealth. Where are the Republicans? They are hiding trying not to stir shit up so they can be re-elected. They are cowards, period. They do not represent their people. They do what ever it takes to retain power, Not get elected, but retain power. These are the assholes we need to rid ourselves of....and it just might be possible if they keep eating their young.

Dolly a far left. Never would have guessed it. Dane a conservative. Sure, I get that. More power to him. I also hold some libertarian ideals that if applied properly most of this racial bullshit would go away. Equally enforce the fucking laws we have. The rest serves only to divide us.

no its fine, its very interesting, I would consider myself more conservative its just leftists seem somewhat soft and there has to be strong stand point for the people, they are allegedly too politically correct like they wouldn't want to see a kid drinking from a hose because its too dangerous, I'm not a politician, just what I've picked up in my 43 years of life. I agree with the slight left on certain things such as racism, but I'm not a racist as they would label me for being conservative, thats when it gets a bit weird on the lefts part.
