It did some nice sounds when you added more ice into the glass - maybe you shoulda help the sound-making a bit by hitting the glass with a stick or mix it wit a stick, but yeah, it's a supercool thing how you always come up with new ways to create sounds ...

So I recently acquired Serum 2, so what sort of thing might you expect me to do next?

That's right, I used a waterproof stereo contact mic to record the sound of ice thawing in a margarita glass for almost 20 minutes, with a little delay from Magneto by Strymon.

Well crap. Steve was a good guy, and could find nice things to say about even my crappiest songs.

I need a new compy.

The thought of migrating all of my vsts over and all the passwords for licenses and... ugh. My anxiety makes it difficult for me to get any one thing done, let alone the 100 things ...

As usual I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to this sort of genre. Lots of bass wubs, but the bass is a hocket - a switch is flipping between 8 sounds once per beat to make the bass line (7 bass sounds, 1 robot speech synthesis "danger" being resynthesized so you can barely recognize the word ...

It's like an awakening morning in the jungle kind of a tune, with the birds etc. Deep sounds, with lots of pleasant bits and pops.
By the way: do you ever unplug all the wires and start from the scratch? Enjoyed your piece, nice!

All of the sounds except the two obvious synth things "slow chords and percussive melody) are one sort of "pinging" or another, mostly analog low pass gates. Turn up your resonance so it's on the edge of self-oscillating, send a tiny impulse through, and you'll get similar sounds from VST ones as ...
