I worked around the hum, tried to tune everything to it so it would be in key, heh. Not really - but it does stand out at the end despite some editing to try to duck it out of the way quickly.
Now that box is 80% dismantled, waiting for replacement power. Found the one I wanted, waited for their year end 10% off sale, called them up, sorted out exactly which components I need and... they're out of powered busboards. They're contacting the guy that makes them (a lot of modular manufacturers are a guy in their garage) but it's holiday time, so no word back.

The lights distract from the hum. You can really hear it in the last seconds, even though I'm quick on the fadeout. Pricing replacement power, but it's tricky, and the system I like best would be almost double what I paid for the whole box.

Just listened... Very cool rhythmic elements in this. It was a bit short but yeah, a great idea for something bigger. Wish you'd make a full length track at some point. :8D:

Oh, and here's a bonus 1-minute job because why not. This one verified that I definitely have some power issues in the new old case - it was built in 2012 and the power supply is noisy, starting to research replacement options.

8 mic interface to PC, the extra inputs lets me do the more critical mix tweaks in a DAW instead of trying to get it all perfect in hardware. I'll add a little effects in post, maybe compress perc different than other bits.
