It's got a good ebb and flow to it, but yeah keep at it and you'll sound more confident. Doesn't hurt to learn a little theory, helps you learn why some things sound good together so you're not relying on happy accidents. Of course, some think that the rules are absolute, which they're not, they're just a better way for one person to convey a musical idea to another in words, but wait what was I saying? Rambling.
