The payment went through so shipping today from Atlanta.
Yea, Ivan it is blood red. That is Cocobola wood a sub for Brazilian Rosewood. There is a lot more to this guitar than what you see. The bracing is hand carved and tuned to a specific tone. It has a system of lament wood in the body designed to reflect tone back to the red cedar top. Think of it as blocking off corners in a recording studio to dampen unwanted reflections. The design of the guitar is from a Spaniard named Rodriquez. This one is made by a guy named Alejandro I Cervantes, a famous luthier in his own right. I am learning a lot about classical guitars. They are a lot like wine in that there are lines of lineages, techniques and vintages that go into the making of a guitar. They are not your average off the wall Martin.
Hopefully by the weekend I will be playing this beauty.
