Big-ass heat dome. It's moved on to Eastern WA, but we still have about a week of 90s with zero rain in sight.
We need a weather control technology. I mean having a control over everything is the nowday's banana anyway... :deadhorse:

Yep, I'm a little south of Seattle and it was 110 here too. A little better today but normally at the end of June we'd be seeing 75-78 with a good chance of rain. "Summer" doesn't start here until July 5th, no real heat until August so this has been highly unusual.

An optimal heat that is not too cold and not too hot is around 24Celcius imo.

Anyway, try to drink enough water, that helps a bit.
Yeah, down in the SW 120 plus is not unusual this time of year. But people are used to that there and they have AC. Here this is unheard of.

Where I live down in Florida , it’s usually in the mid 90s during the summer. It’s also super humid. This time of year is also the rainy season, so we often get rain in the afternoon and that cools things off for the evening.

One of the things happening here is the electric system is being over whelmed as well. So there are power outages from time to time.

I’m sitting in North Bend just east of Seattle. Got here yesterday afternoon. That is way hotter than I have ever seen it here. Most people here don’t have AC.

I got into the truck stop and there is no where here to go inside and sit out of the heat. I don’t want to run the truck all the time. So I caught an Uber to a Casino. Their AC was not keeping up. It was cooler inside than outside but not by much. There were a lot of elderly people there trying to get out of the heat and several times over the afternoon, they had ambulances there because people were passing out.

Hope Bill is doing alright. It’s not supposed to be as hot today.
