Killed Symptoms - Dj Voltans
Yo! I haven't released any new stuff in this year yet (working on some), but this was finished few days before the new year.
Just had my inspiration on and produced it off.

Re: Killed Symptoms - Dj Voltans
Vocals remind me a little of David Bowie in places. Nice strong melody lines. I like that jittery beat too. I take it you're still using Reason? Certainly has that very clean, kind of over-compressed sound I've always associated with that DAW. Nice lush sounds all the same. Good stuff Heikki!

Yeah, still a Reason user. The sound probably comes from my own custom plugin-chain. David Bowie eh?Citizen Dolly wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 10:42 pm Vocals remind me a little of David Bowie in places. Thanks bro! Dnb has a big place in my heart. That's why my first artist alias was deep'n'dark back in the days.

This is tasty. Heikki, your voice is intriguing. I'm really liking the vocal stuff you are doing. With your baritone, you should do more.
Re: Killed Symptoms - Dj Voltans
Yea, Bowie. Sounds like you are trimming the lower frequencies of you voice. Bump the 120 hZ region to make the vox fuller.
Nice tune though. Really good progression and strings.

Ok, thanks for the feedback, I do trim some lower freqs off, depending of the mix, but I'll see if I can leave em there.

Ok - got ya! My tracks are bumping a bit maybe, and it's due to limiter settings, but if I'd brickwall the signal, it'd sound kinda more stable in that manner. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.
